Where healing begins and peace unfolds.

Hi, I’m Monique

With 16 years of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible individuals and couples on their journeys of personal growth, transformation, and healing. What brings me the most fulfillment in my work is the deep connections I’ve built with my clients. There’s nothing more rewarding than witnessing someone evolve, overcome challenges, and find greater meaning and purpose in their lives. I’m deeply grateful for those who trust me to walk alongside them.

My own quest to understand meaning and purpose in life has shaped my belief in the transformative power of compassion, mindfulness, and human connection. At the heart of my work is the understanding that connection—both with ourselves and others—is everything. I specialize in helping couples navigate the complexities of their relationships, and it’s no surprise that communication often lies at the root of many issues. The majority of the couples I work with struggle with feeling disconnected from one another, often because they don’t feel heard. The good news? This is a skill we can learn and practice every day. With couples, I focus on emotional disconnection, communication breakdowns, trust, and intimacy. I help them slow down, learn to truly listen, and speak with vulnerability and clarity-building a stronger foundation for emotional safety and connection

I work individually with adults and adolescents facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity questions, burnout, and the search for meaning. A central part of my work with individuals is helping them reconnect with themselves—learning how to tune into their inner experience with curiosity and compassion. So often, we operate from a place of self-criticism, disconnection, or emotional avoidance. Reconnecting with ourselves—our values, emotions, needs, and internal wisdom—is foundational to creating a life that feels authentic, intentional, and fulfilling.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and integrative. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and psychodynamic principles. With couples, I incorporate the Gottman Method to support meaningful, lasting change. Whether I’m working with individuals or couples, I believe that healing begins when we feel seen and understood—both by ourselves and by those we care about most.

When I’m not in the office, I’m a wife and a mother of four (three of whom are teenagers!). Life is a delicate balance of chaos and joy, and I’m constantly learning how to manage it with some semblance of sanity. My true specialty, however, is in helping others do the same.
